Lock Down

We had another lock down at school today. There was an armed robbery at one of the businesses in town so all of the schools were in lock down. At least once or twice a year we have to do lock down at school because of a robbery in town.

Try to tickle yourself

Have you ever wondered why you can't tickle yourself?

Laughter is the body's way of defending itself against a tickle that might hurt or make you feel uncomfortable. But when you try to tickle yourself your brain knows that there's no threat.

Cool, huh?

Victorian Christmas

I got to go to the Victorian Christmas with my mom, sister, Aunt Juliet and Aunt Derrinda, and my cousins Elijah, Brandon and Kingston. Grandma was going to go with us but she had to go to the hospital all day instead. We had to wait in the waiting room because kids under 12 years old were not allowed in there. I hope Grandma will get to go with us next year because it is lots of fun. I took Kingston on the Christmas train. He had so much fun and so did I.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009

I helped make all the homemade crust for the pies yesterday. We made 12 pies. This is the cherry pie I made.
I also helped to make the fruit salad today.
It was a fun day. We had Thanksgiving at my grandma and grandpa's house. I played with my cousin Kingston a lot.
We ate lots of yummy food. My favorite was the fruit salad and I especially liked the rolls and turkey.
I have lots to be thankful for. I am grateful for all my blessings.
We even had an adventure because our van wouldn't work and grandpa let us use his truck to come home tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving!
